I'm off on hiatus; actually, to hospital.

Some serious surgery to repair my poor old aorta.
It could be some months before I'm able to get back
in the swing of things and I won't be able to read,
let alone respond to, any e-mails.

I'll update this page as soon as I am able to.

UPDATE (09-22):
It is now 3 months since my surgery and recovery seems to be
progressing well.  It could be another 6 months before I get
my strength back.  In the meantime, I'm exercising but generally
taking things a bit slow.  Thanks all for your kind thoughts and
encouragement.
