THE BUSINESS OF BURTON VILLAGE

Check out the webpage of Burton Village

This was one of the projects I worked on from the beginning of my council term. There have been a lot of ups and downs in this process, but we finally have a wonderful webpage that is updated on a daily basis by Jennell Dahlhausen.

ON-LINE RESOURCES

BURTON FIRE DEPARTMENT This is the official site of the Burton Fire Department. My neighbor, Dan Aldridge, is responsible for this wonderful, informative website. Go look at it, learn what our fire department is doing and learn how to protect you home and family. Then email Dan and tell him what a really nice job he did on his site.

BURTON PUBLIC LIBRARY We are so fortunate to have a library in the Village and especially the Burton Public Library. And, now with the new Luxenburg Reading Garden, it's even more of an asset to our community.

GEAUGA~LINK This is a neat link telling you everything you could want to know about Geauga County, Ohio and more. There is so much more on this link than I can begin to mention in this brief paragraph. Check it out and see for yourself.

THE GUNRUNNER This is the official site of The Gunrunner one of our more controversial and yet popular businesses in the Village. Scott Weber is the owner of the store and would love for you to stop in and chat with him.

SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT This is another informative site that you should check out. Pay particular attention to the Sex Offenders list. Be an informed parent, grandparent, relative or friend. Let's watch out for our children

Red Maple Inn This eighteen room Bed & Breakfast built in 1998 and opened in 1999 is located in the heart of Burton Village

The Goodwin House Bed & Breakfast is another B & B located in historic Burton Village. It offers intimate and comfortable accommodations in a landmark home, listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Much of this 1828 home is in original condition, including fine woodwork trim and wood floors, as well as original foundation and mortise and tenon joinery.  Two large guest rooms, each with private “en-suite bath” provide a luxurious weekend getaway, or comfortable favorite stop for business travel.  The home was built for Dr. Erastus Goodwin, who was the region’s physician for decades.
